My Auntie and Uncle have a property on the island of Burra that they offer as self-catering accommodation in the Spring/Summer months, and to coincide with a refurbishment, they decided they’d like a website to promote it.
I initially built the website using WordPress, and installed a booking system plugin which allows them to display availability and for folk to enquire about booking. Once I was a bit more skilled, rebuilt the site using ProcessWire.
I’m glad to say that the site has been a success for them, and was a very useful learning curve for myself!
