A songwriting project of sorts, Trookers is myself and Robert Balfour. We started writing music together for First Foot Soldiers in Autumn of 2012, but soon decided that what we were writing was very much of us and decided to write and record an album together.
After nearly two years as a dyad, in the early of Autumn 2014, Chris Cope (bass) and Erik Peterson (Drums) were added to the lineup, and Trookers had their debut as a foursome at the Oxjam Takeover event in the Lerwick Boating Club.
We released our first and last album “The Temporary” at the end of August 2018.
